I made this lips plaque in my senior year of high school in my ceramics class. I LOVED ceramics and enjoyed making this. I don't remember the type of clay, but it was grayish white. I first made the backround slab part and brought some fishnets to class and made an impression into it. Then I separately made the lips (and teeth) and attached them to the slab. Next, I cut out the letters from a small rectangle of clay and attached them also. Finally, I painted it and then coated it with glossy paint and my teacher baked it. I am quite proud of my plaque.
